Engineering Linguistic Sovereignty
Tirja Consulting LLP is a deep-tech computational linguistics and systems architecture research firm pioneering Pāṇinian neuro-symbolic intelligence for Indian languages.
Our Mission
India’s linguistic heritage is built upon the world’s most advanced and mathematically rigorous grammatical tradition: the generative algebraic formalisms of Pāṇini and the Kāraka dependency structures of classical Indian linguistics.
Yet contemporary generative AI treats Indian languages as second-class citizens — forcing synthetic, inflectional, compound-rich vernaculars into tokenizers and statistical models designed for Western isolating languages like English. The result is catastrophic token inflation, semantic relational inversion, and exorbitant cloud computational costs.
Project Aindrak is our long-term research initiative to develop computational systems informed by formal Indian grammar. We build native software architectures that respect the structural integrity of Indic languages from foundational representations up to sovereign generative AI models.
Foundational Principles
Efficient Language Processing
We adhere to the classical Indian linguistic axiom of Lāghava (economy of description). Linguistic states are structured to eliminate redundancy and subword fragmentation, maximizing computational efficiency.
Reliable Source References
Textual hallucination is treated as an architectural defect, not an acceptable statistical byproduct. Our systems prioritize verifiable grounding against primary canonical literature and verified knowledge bases.
Local Computation & Low Latency
Language technologies should execute efficiently with low latency and minimal compute footprints, enabling robust on-device deployment without mandatory reliance on expensive cloud infrastructures.
